Insurance policies are issued for a two-year term (multi-year insurance) and are automatically renewed unless the other party is notified in advance that the policy will not be renewed. A multi-year policy may be cancelled after the second year of insurance through an Online Request, no later than one month before the end of the second insurance year. 

If the policy is purchased under a promotional offer, the discounted premium applies only during the first insurance year and for new customers. After that, the standard supplementary health insurance rates apply.
